Privacy Policy — Slice the Tower
Last updated: 28 May 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game Slice the Tower (“the App”),
developed by Burak Akbay (“we”, “us”), handles information when you play. The App has
no user accounts and we do not ask you for your name, email, or other directly identifying details.
1. Information collected
We use a small number of third‑party services that collect limited data on our behalf:
- Analytics (Google Firebase Analytics) — anonymous gameplay and app events
(levels played, scores, sessions), plus device information (model, operating system, language,
app‑instance identifier, and approximate region derived from IP address). Used to understand how
the game is played and to improve it.
- Advertising (Google AdMob) — data needed to show ads, including ad interactions
and a device advertising identifier. On iOS, the advertising identifier (IDFA) is only used if you
grant permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, you still see
ads but they are not personalized.
- Purchases (Apple App Store / Unity IAP) — when you buy an in‑app product
(e.g. “Remove Ads” or coin packs), the purchase is processed by Apple. We receive a record that a
purchase succeeded so we can deliver and restore it. We never receive or store your payment
card or billing details — those are handled entirely by Apple.
2. How we use the data
To operate and improve the game, deliver and (with consent) personalize advertising, deliver
in‑app purchases, and keep the App secure and functioning. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third‑party services
The data above is processed by these providers under their own privacy policies:
4. Your choices & rights
- iOS tracking: manage it any time in
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Reset/limit your advertising ID in your device privacy settings.
- Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA/UK under GDPR, California under CCPA), you may have rights to
access or delete data held about you. Because the App does not tie data to your identity, contact us
and we will help where technically possible.
5. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information
from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will remove it.
6. Data retention & security
Analytics and advertising data are retained according to the providers’ standard retention periods.
We use reputable providers and reasonable measures to protect the limited data involved.
7. Changes
We may update this policy; the “Last updated” date will change accordingly. Material changes will be
reflected here.
